Watching & Keeping You Informed!

We had a great turnout for the annual meeting!  Check back often for updates and newsletters. Check the pest link for information on the pest of the month!  Continue to update your email addresses.

Spring is here and a lot of us will be spending time in the yard.  Remember, we live near several creeks and other bodies of water so watch out for wildlife.  A homeowner on Grandview near Valley Creek found a baby rattlesnake in their flowerbed.  Now, seems more likely it would have been some type of water snake but that being said, any type critter is possible!

The Hope Center
(Plano Parkway & Custer)

As those who attended the annual meeting were told and many of you have heard by now, the Northeast Corner of Custer & Plano Parkway will be home to The Hope Center.  The Hope Center Foundation is a multi-tenant campus for 14 Christian ministries including Hope For The Heart, Marketplace Chaplains USA, and e3 Partners Ministry.  It is a non-profit organization.

Our neighborhood had been victimized by several home invasions.  They have occurred when nobody was at home but everyone should remain on the lookout and report any suspicious activity to the police.

2/15/08. The home invasions continue.  The most recent of which we have been advised was 1/15/08 in the 1700 block of Westlake.
According to the homeowner it was between 1:00 P.M and  3:00 P.M. The thieves entered the home through the back door. The gate was locked and
they must have jumped over the fence and forced their way through the patio door by breaking the deadbolt. Even though there was a lockset and a deadbolt with reinforced striker plates they still managed to break the deadbolt. The homeowner has seen suspicious activity in the neighborhood over the last couple of years and has reported it to police.

Homeowner's please email us with your current email address and home address so we can update our records. Our new email system allows the board to send email with a dnehoa.org extension for easier recognition. Email from the association will show mail.dnehoa.org as the sender.

Visit the crime watch page for important updates.

Animal Stuff!
Our leash laws apply to both cats and dogs!  All animals should be on a leash.

Please "scoop" up after your pets.  Cleaning up after your pets is not your neighbor's responsibility, it is yours. I'm sure you wouldn't want your neighbor's dog to "do unto you"!  Thanks for doing the right thing!
